Carmello's and Little Portugal is located in the heart of Historic Old Town Manassas and serves diners from Chantilly, Fairfax, Haymarket, Gainesville, Clifton and even Arlington and surrounding areas. Carmello's and Little Portugal features fine Italian and Portuguese cuisine in a warm atmosphere at affordable prices, with a new menu every day. Since 1987, the chefs have combined the freshest of ingredients and years of experience to prepare a range of dishes from old favorites to new and original masterpieces.
The friendly and professional staff takes special care to make sure every meal is a memorable one. If you have special dietary needs be certain to share this with your server. We are happy to address food allergy needs to the best of our ability.
While reservations are recommended, walk-in guests are welcome.
 Tiffany lamps and candlelight gently light this
restaurant. Tuxedo-clad servers provide conscientious service,
and woven baskets with baguette slices and butter are standard.
The wine list is a virtual picture book filled with labels of
Italian, Portuguese, and American vintage whites and reds. Desserts
run from the traditional Italian including Spumoni, Zabaglione,
and Mascarpone to fine pastries served table side.
While the tendency might be to consider Carmello's
for special occasions, this unpretentious restaurant is affordable
enough to enjoy at any time.
